Pakistan’s throwball officials get ATF seats

KARACHI: Pakistan’s two top throwball officials got coveted seats in the Asian Throwball Federation (ATF) at the electoral meeting of the continental body in Malaysia the other day.
Pakistan Throwball Federation’s (PTF) secretary Maqbool Arain was elected as secretary of the continental body, while Tahir Naveed, who is the president of PTF, became its vice-president.
The new body will work till 2019. Dato Mustapa Kamal of Malaysia was elected as ATF president.
The ATF also allotted Pakistan the 2017 Asian Men and Women Throwball Championship and 2016-2017 Asian Beach Men and Women Throwball Championship.
