ISLAMABAD: Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghadam, who has recently been added by the United States FBI to its most-wanted list, has gone to Tehran for high-level consultations. He left Islamabad for the Iranian capital in the middle of the outgoing week.
The FBI made the announcement early this week and Pakistan announced the same day that the ambassador would be entitled to full diplomatic privileges, protection, and respect.
The top official of the Iran embassy in Islamabad told The News/Jang here Saturday that Ambassador Reza Moughadam could return next month but no schedule could be given. The official was of the view that it could take one to two or even more weeks before his return.
