Welcome to anarchy

Thousands of innocent civilians are dying of starvation in Gaza, a tragedy that should have no place in the 21st century. Once again, Palestinians are being coerced into accepting a so-called ‘peace plan’ that essentially pushes them into even more crowded, prison-like camps. The silence of world governments and the failure of liberal institutions like the United Nations to prevent these crimes against humanity are appalling and dangerous. Their inefficacy has accelerated the global shift towards authoritarianism. Palestine has tragically become ground zero for this transformation. What we are witnessing is the crumbling of the liberal world order. As rogue states flout international laws with impunity, the global political landscape is sliding into chaos and anarchy as the liberal institutions have become mere spectators.
