Two kill father, stepmother for property

FAISALABAD: Two brothers killed their father and stepmother over a property dispute at Dastgir Colony.
M Nisar and his brother Ali Raza with the help of their cousin Ghulam Mohiuddin allegedly administered intoxicant to their father Hafiz Muhammad Umer and stepmother Shahida Perveen. When they became unconscious, the accused throttled them to death. After the double murder, the accused threw the bodies into a canal. Police have arrested the three accused and started investigation.
Patient commits suicide in hospital

FAISALABAD: A cancer patient committed suicide at the Allied Hospital here on Saturday.
Muhammad Ishaq (25) of Satiana Road committed suicide by hanging himself in the cancer ward.
He was unable to purchase costly medicines and injections prescribed by the doctors. Rail Bazaar police have handed over the body to the family after completing legal formalities.
