I would like to draw the attention of the concerned civic authorities to the extremely dilapidated condition of Jinnah Avenue in Malir, Karachi. This vital road serves as the only direct route for thousands of daily commuters from Model Colony and adjoining areas heading to Sharae Faisal. For several months now, the road has been marred by countless potholes, making travel not only difficult but hazardous. To add to the misery of residents and commuters, overflowing sewage has become a persistent problem, turning the already broken road into a health and safety hazard.
Despite repeated complaints from the people, the issue remains unresolved, reflecting poorly on the performance of municipal and development authorities. It is deeply unfortunate that such a critical link road has been allowed to deteriorate to this extent. I appeal to the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and other relevant bodies to take immediate notice of this matter and initiate urgent repair and sanitation work.
