AIOU announces Autumn admissions from July 1
Islamabad : Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), Pakistan’s leading institution for distance learning is proud to announce that admissions for the Autumn Semester 2025 will officially begin on July 1, 2025. In line with its mission to provide accessible, inclusive and affordable education, AIOU invites applications for a wide array of academic programs from secondary school certificates to PhD degrees, says a press release.
Prospectuses, eligibility criteria and admission forms for all programs will be available on the university’s official website www.aiou.edu.pk starting July 1, 2025. Applicants will be able to submit their forms through AIOU’s digital admission portal.
Enhanced Student Support at Regional Campuses: Following the directives of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood, all AIOU regional campuses across the country will provide free internet and computer facilities at dedicated Student Facilitation Centers. Trained staff will be present to guide and assist applicants through the online admission process, ensuring that every student regardless of location or background can access educational opportunities with ease.
In a special message to prospective students, Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood emphasized AIOU’s vision of expanding the reach of education:
“AIOU remains steadfast in its mission to deliver quality education to every citizen of Pakistan, no matter their age, gender, or geographic location. Our goal is to eliminate barriers to learning and enable every learner to grow, achieve, and contribute to a brighter national future.”
