35th Punjabi moot on ‘promotion of regional peace’ from 21st
LAHORE:World Punjabi Congress has announced that the 35th International Conference on Punjab, Punjabi & Punjabiyat will be organised at a local hotel on June 21 and 22, 2025.
The 35th International Conference will be attended by intellectuals, poets, writers, professors and scholars from across Punjab. The main theme of the conference will be Punjab, Punjabi & Punjabiyat with sub themes as promotion of peace in the region, role of language and culture in the promotion of peace and Sufism. World Punjabi Congress has previously organised 34 international conferences on Punjabi culture, literature, Sufism and peace across the world.
World Punjabi Congress Chairman Fakhar Zaman reiterated the commitment to organise back-to-back international conferences despite tough times due to cross border tensions. He said that there is an impending need to organise such conferences which is now of more significance considering the fact that one of the objectives of World Punjabi Congress is to promote peace through Punjabi language & culture. He ensured that he will not let the momentum fall short.
The 34th International Conference was held in March 2025 which was attended by more than 120 intellectuals, writers, poets and professors from India and across the world. Previously World Punjabi Congress has organised such conferences in Sweden, France, Germany, England, Estonia, The Netherlands, Austria, Norway, Italy and US.
