Pakistan exhibits auto parts at Automechanika Istanbul to tap regional markets
KARACHI: Pakistan is aiming to expand its footprint in the regional automotive parts market as 12 companies from the sector participate in Automechanika Istanbul, held from June 12 to 15 at the TUYAP Exhibition Centre.
The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), under the Ministry of Commerce, is spearheading the country’s participation. This marks Pakistan’s continued presence at the global trade fair since 2015, leveraging growing demand in Turkiye and neighbouring markets.
The participating Pakistani firms are exhibiting a diverse range of components, including metal, plastic, and rubber parts used in vehicles, motorcycles, tractors and agricultural machinery.
Automechanika Istanbul 2025 has drawn more than 1,000 exhibitors from over 70 countries, with around 30 national pavilions. Organisers expect more than 20,000 trade visitors during the four-day event, facilitating B2B engagements and regional networking.
Pakistan’s Consul General in Istanbul Nauman Aslam and the Trade and Investment Wing of the consulate are providing on-ground support to Pakistani exhibitors, including B2B matchmaking and logistics coordination.
