‘Public resources to be spent on people’

PESHAWAR: Provincial Minister for Agriculture Sajjad Barakwal said on Tuesday that public resources would be spent only on the welfare of people as per directives of Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur.

Speaking at a gathering held at Hujra Malik Muhit Khan in Union Council Shnawa Gudikhel in Karak, he said that strenuous efforts were being made to overcome the problem of clean drinking water in the area so that the door of politics on drinking water can be closed forever.

Elders of the area and party workers informed the minister of the issues being confronted by the people.The minister said that construction of the Baroch dam and Uplift Canal were underway in order to meet the water requirement for drinking and irrigation in the area.

He added that party founder Imran Khan’s vision of justice would be implemented by eliminating the traditions of political affiliation and personal likes and dislikes in all sectors. Similarly, solarisation of PHED drinking water schemes and installation of agricultural tubewell projects will also be completed in the area.Chairman Malik Muhit Khan, Zahid Bahramkhel, Younas Malang, Arif Nawaz Khattak, Malik Nawab Ali Khan, Shamim Khan and other party workers were also present on the occasion.
