Meritocracy

The appointment of teachers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s elementary and secondary education departments through NTS is one of the finest work of meritocracy ever have seen this country. A large proportion of the poor strata thave been appointed on the basis of merit.
But the story does not end here as all the teachers have been appointed on an ad-hoc basis. The hearts of teachers can only be won if they are given job security in the form of regularisation of services to bring a real change in this important sector.
