Italian consulate celebrates Italian National Day 2025

The consul general of Italy in Karachi, Fabrizio Bielli, hosted on Thursday evening an event in connection Italian National Day 2025 celebrations at a local hotel.

The first lady of Pakistan, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, attended the event with Pakistan Peoples Party Women Wing President Faryal Talpur, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, ministers, parliamentarians, diplomats and bureaucrats.

The Italian consul general expressed gratitude to all the guests who attended the ceremony and highlighted various aspects of strong and friendly cooperation between Italy and Pakistan, particularly in the economic and commercial fields.

The Italian consulate in Karachi had invited chef Vincenzo De Liso from Italy to host an extraordinary evening of Italian gastronomical excellence and culinary heritage with a specially curated menu for the guests. The chef, who hails from the vibrant culinary traditions of Naples, displayed his culinary innovation and creativity at the event.

To create an extraordinary Italian evening, the event not only served authentic Italian food by De Liso but also treated the guests with exclusive coffee by Illy, Italian gelato and Italian cheese.

The consul general also shared with the august gathering the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Emirates Airlines and the Italian consulate for enhancing economic and commercial activities.
