Four cops injured in Bajaur police station attack

KHAR: Four police personnel, including the Station House Officer (SHO), were injured in a terrorist attack on a police station in Loi Mamond tehsil in Bajaur tribal region.
Official sources said that the attackers targeted the Loi Mamond police station using grenade launchers and other heavy weapons. The police responded and returned the fire.The exchange of fire resulted in injuries to four police officials, identified as SHO Fazli Rehman, Shakir, Torsam, and Muhammad Hassan. The injured were rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital in Khar. One of the wounded officers was later moved to Peshawar for treatment due to his critical condition. The police launched a search operation in the area to track down the perpetrators.
