Faizabad protest: Court adjourns hearing till June 16
Witnesses say they were present on the spot when the PTI workers came shouting slogans
ISLAMABAD: An anti-terrorism court heard a case against the Faizabad protest and the disqualification of PTI founder.
During the hearing, two prosecution witnesses recorded their statements. The witnesses said that they were present on the spot when the PTI workers came shouting slogans. When the workers were stopped, they insisted to go outside the Election Commission’s office, they said, adding that the workers were carrying PTI flags and sticks.
The court adjourned the further hearing of the case till June 16 and directed that the statements of more witnesses will be recorded and cross-examined at the next hearing. Faisal Javed Khan, Aamir Kiani, Wasiq Qayyum and others are named in the case. A case has been registered against PTI leaders in Police Station I-9.
