PPSC chairman visits exam centres

LAHORE:The Chairman of the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC), Lt Gen (r) Muhammad Abdul Aziz, paid a surprise visit to the PPSC examination centres on Sunday.

Under the supervision of the Punjab Public Service Commission, written examinations were held for the positions of Dental Surgeon and Veterinary Officer at the Punjab Public Service Commission Examination Centre in Johar Town, here.

More than 6,500 candidates appeared for the written test. According to the Punjab Public Service Commission spokesperson, 3,648 candidates appeared in the written exam for 200 vacancies of Dental Surgeon in the Punjab Specialised Healthcare & Medical Education Department.

Meanwhile, 2,944 candidates took the written test for 54 vacancies of Veterinary Officer in the Livestock & Dairy Development Department. Chairman PPSC visited the Johar Town examination centre. Director IT, M Naeem, and the Original In-charge, M Ijaz Akbar, briefed the chairman on the examination arrangements. The chairman also visited the control room.

Additionally, Punjab Public Service Commission Member Imran Nasir also visited the examination centre and reviewed the exam arrangements. A total of 6,592 candidates participated in Sunday’s written examinations. Strict security measures were implemented, and the SOPs set for the exams were strictly followed.
