Woman found dead
LAHORE:A 35-year-old woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances in her rented home in the Raiwind City area. Police say the body bore signs of torture, with the victim’s hands tied behind her back. According to preliminary details, the deceased, Kanwal, was living with her 16-year-old daughter, Fiza, on Wahga Manga Road, where both worked at a nearby factory. The brutal discovery was made when Fiza returned home after her factory shift and found her mother lying dead with her limbs bound.
Man injured in firing succumbs to injuries
A second victim, 19, of a recent Shafiqabad shooting incident succumbed to his injuries in hospital raising the death toll to two. Ali Raza was critically injured in the incident and died due to excessive bleeding. The tragic episode unfolded a few days ago when suspects Waqas and Waqar opened indiscriminate fire during an altercation, leaving both Musa and Ali Raza severely wounded.
