COAS greeted on becoming Field Marshal
LAHORE:Former chairman of Evacuee Trust Property Board Syed Asif Hashmi has congratulated Army Chief Gen Asim Munir on becoming Field Marshal.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Syed Asif Hashmi, who served as ETPB Chairman between 2008 to 2013, stated that Pakistan Army under the command of Gen Asim Munir has created history while defeating India and exposing its Prime Minister Narendra Modi before the entire world. Hashmi, who was also awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz for his services for Minorities in Pakistan, stated that the Sikh community on both sides of the borders had great regard for Pakistan.
He said in the year 2012 after he inaugurated Sikh Gurduwara in New Delhi and the negative propaganda being spread by pro Modi media in India was exposed now. He lauded Army Chief Gen Asim Munir for leading Pakistan to a historic victory against India.
