Pak juniors reach Shymkent for Davis Cup tie

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan junior Davis Cup team has reached Shymkent (Kazakhstan) to participate in the Davis Cup Juniors Asia/Oceania Final qualifying event, scheduled from May 19 to 24.
Pakistan secured their place in this elite event of Asia/Oceania by delivering an exceptional performance and winning the qualifying event held in Kuching (Malaysia) in March 2025. The event in Kazakhstan will feature top junior teams from across Asia and Oceania. Pakistan team includes Abubakar Talha, Mikaeel Ali Baig, Hamza Roman and Captain and coach Shahzad Khan.
Team Captain Shahzad Khan expressed confidence in the squad, saying: “Our players are fully prepared and fit. We are optimistic about replicating the outstanding performance we delivered in Kuching.”
