KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs900 per tola on Friday in the local market following an increase in the international market.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association said that gold rates reached Rs336,100 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs772 to Rs288,151.Gold rates increased by $9 to $3,177 per ounce in the international market.
Typically, gold prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.Silver rates stood unchanged at Rs3,377 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also remained the same at Rs2,895.
