Scorching weather as mercury reaches 41°C

LAHORE:Weather in the City turned very hot as mercury reached 41°C here on Wednesday. Though the skies had some little clouds in the evening, the day was the hottest day of the ongoing month. Met officials predicted hot weather to continue to prevail in the City with light scattered clouds during the next two days.

Met officials said that maximum temperature in the City was 41°C and minimum was 27°C. Meanwhile, the average AQI in the City was 134 while the PM2.5 concentration was 9.8 times the World Health Organisation annual PM2.5 guideline value.
