Cops awarded for action against robbers

BANNU: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sajjad Khan awarded cash prizes and commendation certificates to the cops for their performance and swift actions against a gang of robbers.

The ceremony took place at the Regional Police Office, Bannu, where RPO Sajjad Khan praised the Domail Station House Officer, Arshad Khan and his team for their bravery and performance.

The RPO said that honest and committed officers were the pride of the department and would continue to be acknowledged and encouraged.The police had apprehended one robber in an injured condition following an exchange of fire, while his accomplice had managed to escape.The arrested robbers were identified as Siraj, a resident of Jhangi Kalla, Domail. He was wanted by Domail police in several serious cases, including attempted murder, robbery and theft.
