Youm-e-Tashakkur observed in KP

PESHAWAR: Youm-e-Tashakkur was observed across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to celebrate the Bunyan-um-Marsoos operation against India.

Various rallies were staged in the provincial capital, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Women Wing members staged a rally at Balahisar Fort to show solidarity with the armed forces. They were carrying banners and placards in support of the forces.

The Hindu and Sikh community members also gathered at Balahisar Fort to celebrate the ceasefire and expressed solidarity with the armed forces.In Bajaur, a rally was taken out in Bajaur to celebrate the successful operation by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) against India.

On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Shahid Ali Khan and led by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Shahid Rafiq Gandapur and Khar Assistant Commissioner Sadiq Ali, the participants showed solidarity with the Pakistan armed forces.

District administration officials, personnel of Bajaur Police, people and members of the media community participated in the rally.The participants raised slogans in favour of the Pakistan armed forces and expressed full support for Pakistan’s strong and effective retaliatory action against Indian aggression, in which Indian air bases were targeted.

A large public rally is also scheduled for tomorrow, expected to see the enthusiastic participation of government officials, civil society, and citizens. Pakistani flags have been hoisted on government offices and commercial centres as a symbol of national unity.

In Lower Dir, the people observed “Youm-e-Tashakkur” after the Pak-India ceasefire and the success of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos.In this connection people turned to the roads in all seven tehsils of the district including Timergara, Adenzai, Khall, Munda, Samarbagh and Lal Qila Maidan.

In Balambat, a large crowd gathered at Dir Scouts Fort and held demonstrations to pay tribute to the Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Armed Forces.In Lower Chitral, people gathered in great numbers to express joy over the defeat and retreat of the arch-rival India, reaffirming their unwavering support for the armed forces.

Following the Zuhr prayers, the people from various villages and markets assembled at Ataliq Bridge. The gathering was addressed by key political and religious figures including President of PML-N Chitral Abdul Wali Khan Abid Advocate, Niaz A. Niazi Advocate, Muhammad Kausar Advocate, Maulana Israruddin Al-Hilal, Haji Eidul Hussain, among others.
