Punjab CM praises PAF’s exemplary skills, courage

She says “performance of Pakistan Air Force has set highest standards of excellence in air warfare”

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Friday paid tribute to the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on the social networking website ‘X’. She said, “Pakistan Air Force, being the custodian of our dear homeland’s airspace, has brought Pakistan a glorious victory in the skies by showing their exemplary skills, excellent strategy, and unparalleled courage.”

She said: “The performance of Pakistan Air Force has set the highest standards of excellence in air warfare.” She congratulated and paid tribute to the Pakistan Air Force for manifesting a heroic defence of Pakistan. “We salute the audacity and professional expertise of PAF. Pakistan Zindabad! (May Pakistan Live Long).”

Maryam Nawaz also met Ambassador of Finland Hannu Ripatti and discussed bilateral relations, educational cooperation and trade. It was agreed to increase high-level contacts to promote ties between Pakistan and Finland. The chief minister welcomed the restoration of the Embassy of Finland in Islamabad.

She added, “Peaceful coexistence and mutual respect are an integral part of our shared values. There are numerous opportunities available for Finland in various sectors of Punjab, such as renewable energy, agricultural technology, digital services, and education.”

Maryam Nawaz also congratulated the Christian community on the election of American-born Cardinal Robert Prevost as Pope. She expressed her best wishes for Cardinal Pope Robert Prevost. “Hopefully, Cardinal Pope Robert Prevost will carry forward the noble mission of connecting the world in a relationship of love and tolerance.”

Meanwhile, Maryam expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of former PMLN Parliamentarian Haji Irfan Ahmed Khan Daha.
