Nation united against Indian aggression: Bilawal
Bilawal stressed need to set aside all differences and present united front to world
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Friday said that the people of Pakistan, rising above political, social and provincial differences, are united in confronting Indian aggression.
“The nation stands firmly with the brave soldiers of our Army, Navy, and Air Force who are defending the country on the frontlines,” he said during a meeting with PPP leaders from south Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa at the Zardari House in Islamabad. The leaders conveyed public sentiments regarding the recent Indian hostilities.
Bilawal stressed the need to set aside all differences and present a united front to the world. He strongly condemned the Indian government’s move to ban Pakistani social media accounts and media outlets in an attempt to suppress the truth. “Blocking all possible means of communication to prevent Indian citizens from accessing the truth is a desperate and cowardly act that reflects panic within the Indian government,” he stated.
The PPP chairman urged the youth of Pakistan to actively counter Indian disinformation through social media and highlight the reality to the international community. He called on all citizens to contribute to the country’s defence in whatever capacity they can.
In a separate meeting, Bilawal directed the party’s KP chapter to organise a rally in Peshawar on May 26 to protest against Indian aggression.
