Gallup survey on tension with India: 65% Pakistanis satisfied with govt’s diplomacy, foreign policy
Fifteen percent said they were dissatisfied, while 20pc said they did not know anything about it
ISLAMABAD: The majority of Pakistanis are satisfied with Pakistan’s diplomacy and foreign policy against Indian measures.
This was revealed in a Gallup Pakistan survey, in which several hundred Pakistanis from more than a hundred districts of the country participated.
In the survey, 65 percent of Pakistanis expressed satisfaction with the country’s foreign policy during the tension with India and praised the foreign policy.
Fifteen percent said they were dissatisfied, while 20pc said they did not know anything about it.
The majority of Pakistanis also appeared to be satisfied with the unity of political parties in response to Indian measures.
Sixty-four percent welcomed the unity of political parties, while 22pc expressed dissatisfaction, 14pc did not answer this question.
In the event of war with India, 78pc of participants said they would trust China the most, followed by 66pc Turkiye, 63pc Saudi Arabia, 60pc Iran, 56pc Bangladesh, while 51pc hoped Pakistan would receive full support from Afghanistan during the war.
The survey participants said Pakistan would receive less support from Western countries during the war.
