SHCBA asks int’l community to hold India accountable for its unprovoked attacks on Pakistan
Bar slammed Indian govt for suspending Indus Water Treaty and stopping Indus water in breach of international accord
KARACHI: The Sindh High Court Bar Association (SHCBA) has strongly condemned the cowardly and unprovoked attack by India inside Pakistani territory resulting in tragic loss of innocent civilian lives.
Adopting a resolution, the SHCBA said on Friday that this blatant violation of international laws and Pakistan’s sovereignty is an unacceptable act of aggression that undermines regional peace and stability. The bar association saluted the brave and swift response of Pakistan’s armed forces, who not only defended the motherland with unmatched valour but also dealt a resounding blow to the Indian Air Force, which suffered the loss of five aircraft and a number of drones.
The bar also slammed the Indian government for suspending the Indus Water Treaty and stopping Indus water in breach of the international accord. It demanded restoration of the accord. The bar association asked the international community to condemn such aggression of India.
