PESHAWAR: Anti-Corruption Establishment Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has taken action against a land mafia illegally occupying state-owned land in Manshera, reclaiming 2,529 kanal and 8 marla of land worth over Rs1.38b.
Adviser to the Chief Minister on Anti-Corruption Musaddiq Abbasi, received complaints during Anti-Corruption Khyber Pakhtu-nkhwa’s monthly khuli Khutchehri regarding illegal occupation of government land in Manshera. Taking immediate notice, Abbasi directed the Special Investigation Wing to probe the matter. The inquiry revealed collusion between certain revenue department officials and individuals to illegally transfer thousands of kanals of state land into personal ownership.
