Karachi Deputy Mayor Salman Abdullah Murad on Wednesday strongly condemned Indian aggression, terming the attack on Pakistani civilians as a cowardly act. He said the Pakistan Armed Forces have delivered a befitting response, making the entire nation proud.
“The entire Pakistani nation stands united, and is always ready to respond firmly to India’s cowardly actions,” Murad said while addressing a rally held at the Karachi Press Club to show solidarity with the armed forces.
He expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of innocent civilians in the attacks, affirming that the nation’s morale remains high. “The people of Karachi stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces against any aggression.”
He condemned India’s attacks on Azad Kashmir and Pakistan, and vowed that the blood of every martyr would be avenged. “The nation holds its head high in pride over the decisive response given by the Pakistan Armed Forces,” he stressed, warning that India should not underestimate Pakistan’s resolve.
“India launched a cowardly attack under the cover of darkness. It has challenged the Pakistani nation — and this misconception will soon be corrected.” The PPP’s parliamentary party leader in the City Council Karamullah Waqasi, deputy parliamentary party leader Dil Muhammad, elected local government representatives, union committee chairmen, and a large number of KMC officers and employees were also present.
