War pollution
Climate change is a global crisis that countries have worked hard to address through international agreements and strict regulations on industrial pollution. However, the outbreak of war between countries can instantly undo years of progress. Bombs, airstrikes and war machines also cause a lot of pollution and damage the environment, but no one talks about how war affects the environment. Why do we not treat war like a climate problem too? It is actually unfair to the peaceful countries as they have to deal with the pollution caused by those starting wars. In my opinion, holding polluting countries accountable for climate change should also include taking countries who start wars to task for the environmental problems they cause.
