SCCI supports Friends of GCCP initiatives
PESHAWAR: Sarhad Chamber of Commerce & Industry Peshawar (SCCI) is not only making all-out efforts for the socio-economic uplift of the traders and industrialists but through sub-committees, is working for social welfare, arts and culture so that citizens could benefit from that.
SCCI President Fazal Muqeem Khan said this while addressing a delegation of the Executive Committee of a local organization — Friends of GCCP [Government College of Commerce Peshawar] which called on him at his chamber under the chairmanship of Malik Amjad Ali.
The delegation included Mohammad Taufiq, Tanveer A. Nisar, Fazal Subhan, Syed Ali Nawaz Gilani and Mazhar Rahim.The SCCI chief appreciated the aims and objectives of the organization and said that the welfare of the society, financial support and scholarships to the deserving students and taking remedial measures to redress the grievances of a common man were great goals. He assured that the chamber would support the organisation in achieving these targets.
He announced honourary membership for the executive committee members of FGCCP and assured them that their nominations would also be made for participation in future seminars, conferences, and delegations.
The SCCI chief hoped that this organization of senior citizens would leave no stone unturned in serving humanity in a better way, for which they will always find the SCCI supportive.Earlier, the delegation highlighted salient features and aims and objectives of the organization and aimed that the mission of FGCCP would be accomplished through the struggle.
