Privatising PIA

There was a time when PIA was one of the world’s leading airlines, with the national flag proudly displayed on each aircraft. Known for reliability and quality service, it upheld its tagline ‘Great people to fly with’. However, in recent years, the airline has faced significant challenges, including deteriorating services, frequent flight cancellations and long delays.

Numerous complaints about service quality have tarnished its reputation, leading to financial losses. Given these circumstances, privatisation seems like the only viable solution, despite being a difficult decision
