Dir Press Club, union get office-bearers

DIR: Senior journalist Syed Zahid Jan was elected as the president of the Dir Press Club as the election of press club and union of journalists concluded here on Friday.

The other members of the press club include; Mazharuddin, vice-president, general secretary Dawood Wardag, finance secretary Yar Zaman Khan, Yaheya Faqir, press secretary and Mehran Khan, joint secretary. Also, Ahmadul Haq Malezaai was elected a president of Dir Union of Journalists, Muqaddam Khan, general secretary, Mumtaz Khan, vice-president and Qari Sajjad, press secretary. The elections were held under the supervision of the Dir Bar Association president at the TMA Hall Dir, with participation from journalists representing various areas.
