ISLAMABAD: Amid the prevailing Pak-India tension, the federal government on Wednesday gave DG(I) Lt Gen Asim Malik additional charge of National Security Adviser (NSA).
His appointment will be effective immediately. The Cabinet Division has issued a formal notification of his appointment. The NSA post has been vacant since August 2022.
