RAWALPINDI: The sisters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder were denied meeting with their brother at the Adiala jail. Along with the founder’s cousin, Qasim Khan, they proceeded towards the jail on foot.
Meanwhile, a contingent of legal minds, having arrived to confer with their client, faced an unexpected obstruction.
Law enforcement officials present at Adiala jail’s main gate directed them to vacate the premises. Permission was ultimately granted for a select group of lawyers to meet with the PTI founder.
Faisal Chaudhry, Mahmood Joya, Usman Gul, Haroon Nawaz, and Zaheer Abbas were subsequently permitted entry through Gate 5.
