Pakistan has experienced various extreme weather events as a result of climate change. Over the past 20 years, flash floods, smog in winter, intense heat waves, hailstorms and forest fires have become more frequent. Trees serve as a safeguard for a clean environment, but human activities like deforestation are threatening their survival. Countries around the globe are working to restore their forests and Pakistan must follow these efforts.
Growing trees is the responsibility of every individual. Solving climate change also requires both regional and international cooperation, as no country can address these challenges alone.
