ISLAMABAD: The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Thursday raised its unanimous voice against the Indian aggression and strongly condemned its allegations.

In the committee’s meeting, chaired by Junaid Akbar Khan, the members strongly condemned the Indian allegations and actions after the Pahalgam attack. Junaid Akbar said they stood with the forces and were united for the country.

Committee member Afnanullah Khan said in this difficult time, the entire nation stood with its forces like a wall. “If India does any kind of foolishness, it will get a befitting reply,” he warned.

Senator Saleem Mandviwalla said India had deployed seven lakh troops in Kashmir and whenever something like that happened, they always blamed Pakistan. “The blame game should end now. We condemn these actions of India,” he said.

Shazia Marri said India’s behavior was regrettable, as it accused Pakistan without any evidence. This is a false flag operation, she said.

Moin Aamer Pirzada said if India imposed a war on Pakistan, not only the army but also the entire nation will give it a befitting reply.

The PAC examined the audit para concerning the ‘illegal award’ of Port Qasim Coal Fired Power Project, “illegally given directly to the company”.

Secretary Maritime told the committee that it was a B2B CPEC project worth $2 billion approved by the government.

He told the committee that it was a project meant to meet power shortages and should be appreciated. He said the federal cabinet approves every CPEC project and this was a G2G project between China and Pakistan.
