JCP to pick high courts’ CJs on May 19
It was learnt that during meeting, Commission would deliberate on names for their appointment as permanent CJs of HCs

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi has convened the meeting of Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) on May 19 for appointment of permanent chief justices (CJs) to high courts.
It was learnt that during the meeting, the Commission would deliberate on the names for their appointment as permanent chief justices of high courts, including Islamabad High Court (IHC), Sindh High Court (SHC), Balochistan High Court (BHC) and Peshawar High Court (PHC) respectively. It was further learnt the JCP meeting that was scheduled for May 2 has been postponed.
