DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Under “Derajat 2025,” the much-anticipated Off-Road Challenge event has been launched near the CPEC M-14 on a specially designed 75-kilometer track.
The opening day featured exciting races as expert drivers from Dera Ismail Khan and neighboring districts took part in various categories including stock, women’s, and prepared vehicle segments.
Provincial Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Syed Fakhar Jihan, along with Director General Sports Abdul Nasir Khan and officials from departments such as WSSC, TMA, Health, Rescue 1122, and Information, attended the event on its first day.
A large number of local residents, guests, and motorsport enthusiasts also witnessed the electrifying action and extended warm hospitality to visitors arriving in convoys from distant areas.
Well-organised spectator zones, refreshment stalls, medical camps and robust security arrangements contributed to a vibrant and family-friendly atmosphere.
