Four terrorists killed in Swat IBO
President and PM hailed professionalism, bravery, and dedication of security forces following successful IBO
RAWALPINDI: Security forces and law enforcement agencies (LEAs) Friday killed four Khwarij in a joint intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Swat district.
During the operation, the troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location, killing four Khwarij, said a news release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the Khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area. Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Khwarij in the area.
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Friday hailed the professionalism, bravery, and dedication of security forces following the successful IBO. In separate statements, the president and prime minister commended the officers and personnel of the security forces and law enforcement agencies for their courageous action.
