Man killed in Kurram landmine blast
Search operation is also underway in surrounding area

PARACHINAR: A man was killed in a landmine explosion in the border area of Sarsarang in Kurram tribal district on Thursday.
Police sources said the victim, identified as Muhammad Amin, was walking near the roadside in Sarsarang when he accidentally stepped on a landmine.
“An explosion occurred, leaving him seriously injured. He succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital,” said an official.
Security forces and police cordoned off the area following the incident and began collecting evidence. A search operation is also underway in the surrounding area.
