The farmers of the Malka Wah area of Mirpur Sakro in Sindh have been without water for over a hundred days now. The supply was halted on December 20, 2024, for 40 days due to maintenance. Since then, water has been released three times but it has not reached the tail end of Malka Wah.
The fourth release is approaching now and we fear that water may not reach us this time either. The concerned officers must please provide water to the farmers at the tail end of Malka Wah.
