PESHAWAR: A seminar on clinical psychology and the art of advocacy was arranged on Tuesday at the Frontier Law College in Peshawar.
A clinical psychologist, Aleema Hamid, was the resource person. Akhtar Ali Khan, founder of the college, presided over.The programme included practical exercises as well as moot demonstration or a mock court proceeding for educational purposes. The art of examination and cross-examination of witnesses was explained as well. The scheme of counselling with the parties was highlighted as per Alternate Dispute Resolution.
The founder of the college told the participants that the new generation of legal practitioners was required to learn the tools of the dispensation of justice through the human mind instead of relying on artificial intelligence.
