Boy, girl kidnapped

PAKPATTAN: A boy and a girl were kidnapped in separate incidents here on Wednesday.

Ibrahim and his accomplices entered the house of Muhammad Fayyaz of College Road, Pakpattan, and abducted his nephew Asad Ali.

Accused Allah Ditta and his accomplices abducted the 17-year-old daughter of Meraj Bibi of Chak 16/SP. Police have registered cases.

DRUG PEDDLERS HELD: Police Wednesday arrested drug peddlers and recovered drugs and liquor from their possession.

Police arrested accused Abdul Rehman of Chak 19/SP with 1,050 gram charas, Lal Khan of Chak 74/D with 10 litre liquor, Nadeem of Pir Sultan with 5 litre liquor, Nadeem of Chak Meera Shah with a revolve, and Shakir Ali of Meer Khan Mamonka with a pistol.

Police have registered cases.

VALUABLES TAKEN AWAY: Locals were robbed of cash and valuables on Wednesday.

Thieves stole cash and a pistol worth Rs 81,000 from the house of Arshad Javed of Chak 68/D.

Five thieves entered the house of Muhammad Imran of Chak 85/D and stole gold ornaments, clothes and other valuables worth Rs 24,000.

Shuakat Ali of Chak 79/D parked his motorcycle (SLK-6911) outside his house. When he came back he found it missing. Police have registered cases.

PO ESCAPES: A proclaimed offender (PO) escaped with the connivance of his accomplice on Wednesday.

Police reached Chak 10/EB to arrest PO Aslam but he was alerted by his accomplices Munawar Hussain and Muhammad Akmal. Police have registered case.
