PPL, BME sign Barite-Lead-Zinc accord with Balochistan government
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) and its subsidiary Bolan Mining Enterprises (BME) signed an agreement with the government of Balochistan (GoB) for the Barite-Lead-Zinc (BLZ) project at the Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum (PMIF) 2025, here the other day.
The signing ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Syed Asim Munir, reflecting the national significance of the initiative.The agreement was signed by PPL Managing Director and CEO Imran Abbasy and Balochistan Mineral Resources Limited CEO Saeed Ahmad, on behalf of GoB, said a press release.
As a strategic partner of PMIF 2025, PPL actively showcased its growing presence in the mining sector through a dedicated and visually engaging booth, set up by BME. The stall attracted a large number of visitors, including government officials, foreign dignitaries etc.
