MANSEHRA: Tehsil Chairman Nawabzada Hassam on Thursday criticised Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf MPA from Oghi, Ikramullah Ghazi, for allegedly altering development schemes worth Rs260 million that had been proposed by the former lawmaker and approved by the previous government.
“This is unjust. Ghazi has changed almost all of the development schemes approved by the previous government and could have been implemented during the current PTI tenure,” Nawabzada Hassam said while addressing a session of the tehsil council in Oghi.
The session, chaired by acting presiding officer Syed Arif Shah, was attended by a large number of council members from both treasury and opposition benches.Hassam alleged that MPA Ghazi not only modified the schemes approved by former MPA Nawabzada Fareed but also relocated them to other areas, thereby depriving certain localities of their rightful share in development.
Several chairmen of village and neighbourhood councils, including Shahid Salman, Tahir Khan Swati, Dr Wajid Ali, Mohammad Irfan, Noorul Amin, Shahid Nawaz, Noorul Islam, Haq Nawaz, Mohammad Arshad, and Khan Mohammad, addressed the session.
