LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has dismissed reports suggesting that Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has stepped down from his position following his recent appointment as President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).
Speculation about Naqvi’s resignation surfaced over the weekend on various sports websites and social media platforms, with claims that his dual responsibilities might compel him to relinquish his PCB role.
A senior PCB official refuted these rumours, labeling them as “baseless.” The official confirmed that Naqvi remains fully committed to his duties as PCB Chairman and continues to work towards the development of Pakistan cricket.
