Noor, Hamza move into U23 World Squash quarterfinals

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Noor Zaman and Hamza Khan moved into the quarterfinals of the inaugural under-23 World Squash Championship at Creek Club here on Monday.
Second seed Noor thrashed unseeded Jakub Pytlowany from Poland 11-4, 11-5, 11-3 and Hamza smashed England’s unseeded Will Salter 11-5, 11-6, 11-5 in the second round. Now, Noor is to face France’s Melvil Scianimanico and Hamza is drawn against Malaysia’s 3/4 seed Ameeshenraj Chandaran in the quarters. Meanwhile, top seed Ibrahim Elkabbani from Egypt will be playing against Rowan Damming and Kareem Eltorkey from Egypt is up against David Bernet in the quarters.
