I support the government's decision to privatise PIA as I do not think the airline can be revived in its current form. Its liabilities and annual losses are only expected to get bigger and it is ordinary citizens who will foot the bill, while the national carrier remains public. Privatization would reduce the burden on citizens and the government budget and ought to be carried out in a transparent manner.
