In the last few years, many people have installed solar panels to get cheap as well and clean and pollution-free energy. However, much of this solar adoption has been limited to wealthier individuals.
The upfront costs are too high for most others and the government’s recent reduction of net-metering rates has not helped matters. Sadly, this will only exacerbate the cost-of-living problems facing this country’s middle classes.
