Bilawal visits Sanjay Kumar’s family to offer condolences
PPP chief offered condolences to Larkana Hindu Panchayat Chairman, Vice Chairman and Mukhi over Sanjay Kumar’s murder
SUKKUR: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday visited Sanjay Kumar’s family to offer condolences over the merchant’s murder. Kumar was shot dead by dacoits.
Bilawal arrived at Seth Duni Chand Pahlomal Bhatia Hindu Dharmashala on Royal Road Al-Abbas Chowk, Larkana, on Saturday. He was accompanied by Nisar Khuhro, Jameel Soomro, Sohail Anwar Sial, Naseeba Channa, Khair Mohammad Sheikh, Buland Junejo, and others. He met the deceased merchant’s son Aryan Kumar and widow and sister to convey his sympathies. He also spoke to Ronak Kumar Ahuja, who was injured in the attack.
The PPP chief also offered condolences to Larkana Hindu Panchayat Chairman Haresh Lal, Vice Chairman Jay Raj and Mukhi Nol Rai over Sanjay Kumar’s murder.
The suspected killer and mastermind behind Sanjay Kumar’s murder have been killed in a police encounter.
Meanwhile, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari chaired a meeting regarding development works in Larkana. Deputy Commissioner Larkana Sharjeel Noor Chana briefed him that 32 kms of roads linking various villages to Larkana city have been constructed, while 17 small bridges constructed on different canals, as well as 20 schools in NA-194 constituency solarised. Besides, he added, 12 health centres, which were destroyed in floods, have been reconstructed.
He was further informed that Wagon Road leading to Indus Highway has been bifurcated; construction of Hayat Muhammad Khan Sherpao, city’s main highway from SSP Chowk to Chandka Bridge, completed. Roads are being constructed and repaired at 27 places in the city, he added.
Bilawal directed the deputy commissioner Larkana to expedite the development works in his constituency, NA-194, and ensure its quality. Commissioner Larkana Tahir Sangi, Mayor Anwar Luhar, Nisar Khuhro, Jameel Soomro, Sohail Syal, Nazir Bughio, Adil Unar, Khurshid Junejo, Ijaz Leghari and Khair Muhammad Sheikh attended the meeting.
