98 cops to get certificates for thwarting terror attacks

LAHORE:Punjab Police has approved more than Rs1.9 million rewards and certificates for 98 cops, who thwarted terror attacks on the Likhani and Jhangi checkpoints on March 3, 7, and 8.
According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, the DSP Tunsa received a letter of appreciation. Reportedly, Rs 20,000 and a certificate was given to 57 cops of Dera Ghazi Khan, 11 each of Multan and Khanewal, 5 of Gujarat, and others from Faisalabad, Muzaffargarh, Rawalpindi, and other districts.
